Toffee Crunch Pie

Frozen chocolate-toffee ice cream pie

- 4 chocolate-coated toffee bars (1 1/2 oz each)

- 1 quart chocolate chip ice cream, softened

- 1 (9-inch) chocolate or graham cracker crust

- 1 cup chocolate sauce or syrup


Steps:

1. Crush toffee bars in a plastic bag using a mallet or rolling pin.

2. Reserve 1/4 cup of crushed candy for topping.

3. Combine softened ice cream with remaining crushed toffee.

4. Spoon into crust, mounding high in the center.

5. Sprinkle reserved candy on top.

6. Freeze at least 4 hours before serving.

7. Warm chocolate sauce over low heat (do not boil) and drizzle over pie in your own design.
