Flautas

Rolled beef tortillas served with toppings

Ingredients:

- 2 lbs ground beef

- 3 tablespoons chili powder

- 1 tablespoon ground cumin

- Salt and pepper to taste

- 20 flour tortillas

- Chopped lettuce

- Tomatoes, chopped

- Guacamole

- Grated cheese


Steps:

1. Combine ground beef, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper; mix well.

2. Heat tortillas on a griddle. If dry, dip in water first.

3. Spoon meat mixture onto warm tortillas; roll tightly.

4. Fry 2–3 at a time in 1 inch of hot oil until crisp.

5. Drain and keep warm in 300°F oven.

6. Serve immediately topped with guacamole, lettuce, tomatoes, olives, sour cream, and grated cheese.


Notes:

- Tortillas may be dipped in water if dry
