Deviled Crab Meat

Baked crab and bread crumb casserole

- 8 oz crab meat

- 8 oz bread crumbs, soaked in milk and drained well

- 4 cloves (“buttons”) garlic, minced

- 1/2 lb butter or margarine, melted (used for braising and mixing)

- Salt and white pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Braise celery, onion, and garlic until limp in butter/margarine.

2. Add bread crumbs, crab meat, and seasonings; mix well.

3. Add eggs and mix thoroughly.

4. Pour into a casserole dish and bake at 350°F until browned.
