Amazing Crisco Crust

Hot-fat no-roll pie crust

- 8 egg roll sheets

- 1 egg, beaten

- 3/4 cup water, divided


Steps:

1. Combine dry ingredients: flour, yeast, sugar, salt, baking soda.

2. Stir in hot water (2 cups), mix thoroughly until dough forms.

3. Cover and let rise 1 hour until doubled.

4. Divide dough in half, roll into a rectangle.

5. Spread generously with butter, sugar, cinnamon, and nuts.

6. Roll up, slice into 12 pieces.

7. Let rise 30–40 minutes.

8. Bake at 375°F for 25 minutes.

9. Cool and glaze with powdered sugar icing if desired.
