Garlic Roasted Purée

Roasted garlic spread

- 4 heads garlic

Steps:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. Slice bottoms off garlic heads to loosen cloves, leaving skins intact.

3. Place in shallow bakeware.

4. Drizzle with olive oil.

5. Bake 20 minutes.

6. Cool and slip cloves from skins.

7. Place cloves in food processor.

8. Add salt, pepper, and lemon juice; process until smooth.


Notes:

- Spread on toasted French bread, baked potatoes, or grilled chicken.

- Yield: 3/4 cup
